7 Kids Challenge Fund- “Anything Goes” Challenge

    It’s time for another great challenge at 7 Kids College Fund! It is always “Anything Goes” for all who participate but the design team likes to add a twist for themselves, so the design team played with“Die Cuts”!  Remember, to be eligible to win the $20 gift certificate or Top 3 badge, you must use a stamped image from the store.
     For my card, I decided to make a “Welcome Baby Girl” 6×6 inch card.   Is there anything more precious than welcoming a new little life to the world!   It gave me the chance to play with several “die cuts”- Spellbinder Square Nestabilities, Scallop Square Nestabilities and a new Memory Box die, Precious Mobile. 

        The design paper is an oldie but goodie, “Noah’s Ark” 8×8 inch paper pad by Debbie Mumm. I don’t think it is available any more. Thought I might have seen it at Michaels- such a perfect paper pad for baby; boy and girl!  Debbie Mumm is also one of my favorite quilt fabric & pattern designers.. there is some baby flannel underneath the card by the way!  LOVE this paper pad and hate to use it up!!

    (Excuse the difference in lighting in the two pics.. once again, still waiting on my photo lights which should be here tomorrow I am told?) To begin, I cut nine squares of white Gemstone Core’dinations Cardstock (hence the shine).  Then I cut nine scallop squares – three each of three different coordinating papers from the paper pad, and pop dotted them on another piece of coordinating cardstock. That unit was mounted onto pink cardstock distressed with Tattered Rose distress ink.
 

           The “Double Frame” die is from Marianne Designs. On it I mounted the Memory Box Precious Mobile that I glittered with Deco Art Glamour Dust. I added pearls wherever I could, Wild Orchid Crafts two tones roses and small pink roses, a bow and a pearl over a round rhinestone slider. The “welcome” sentiment is one of my favs from Stampin Up.  That’s it! This card is available at my ETSY store.
