All Things Grow Better With Love

Happy Friday-Woo Hoo! School is closed next week so I have a whole week to relax and play. It has been quite a crazy few months and so I have been “x-ing” the days off the calendar (some days with my fingernails) to this much-needed break!
I sooooo fell in love with this stamp when I first saw her and had just as much fun coloring her up.  She is Sylia Zet’s “Give Peace a Chance.”

She is colored with copics and I played with the YR18 through YR12 oranges that seemed to be used in the photo that accompanied the stamp (see link above.) It was a new color combo for me and I loved the deep orange rich color. I did add some E18 to deepen the shading as well. Oddly enough, I had these plastic peace stickers from EK Success and when I saw the stamp, I sort of worked the design around these little embellishments and a sketch from the Sketch n Stash challenge.

Once again, the dp used in Basic Grey’s Marrakech and MME Mabel. The deep orange colors really matched well. The cardstock is from Bazill and PTI.  Blue flowers are from Wild Orchid Crafts and Mulberry Gardenias are from Pizzazz Aplenty.  Sentiment is from Pink by Design and punch is from EK Success.  Deco Art Glamour Dust and Spica pens were used on the flower she is holding and in her hair. Swarovski crystals and Pebbles Chalk (blue and yellow) shade the image.
Thanks for stopping by, and also thank you for the time you take to leave such kind comments. Have a great weekend!
