C.R.A.F.T. Challenge- Snowflake Kisses

     Happy New Year. I realized I haven’t been here since the holidays, so let me first wish all of you the best for 2013! Slowly, it seems, we are all making our way back to our blogs after the holidays. It is great to see all the new challenges up and running.
     Today marks my first challenge for the C.R.A.F.T. Challenge Blog.  I was so excited to be invited to be a Guest Designer for the month of January…how cool is that to meet a new group of ladies who are super creative and sweet, as well as get to join in on the fun of their challenges for the month! This week our challenge is a color challenge.

      Any project with the color combination above will be eligible for a prize.  At C.R.A.F.T. Challenges, prizes are awarded to SEVERAL randomly drawn “winners”.  There are also “Top 3” winners selected each week who will receive a badge to display on their blog. Last there is a Star of the Month winner selected at the end of each month who will receive a prize from one of their sponsors!  Whew, it is hard NOT to win! You will have from now until Wednesday, January 16th (1pm EST/6pm GMT) to post your project in our Inlinkz and link back to your blog.
     For my design team entry, (get your sunglasses on) I selected “Snowy Tilda” by Magnolia. I don’t color Maggies as often as I buy them, and having a chance this holiday break to “organize” my craft room gave me the opportunity to play with some stamps that were still in the package!  She is just perfect for any winter card! She is colored with copics (listed below).

        
 The design paper is from Lili of the Valley- “Frosty Christmas”. The cardstock is Bazzill’s “Bling” collection. The sentiment is from Create with TLC (digi sentiments) and they have a sentiment for every occasion you can think of!  Thanks Carla! Last, I ran the die cut snowflake border by Memory Box and Marvy Jumbo Punch (snowflake) through the Xyron and adhered MS glitter and Diamond Stickles – easy peasy.  Flowers and heart pearls by Wild Orchid Crafts and “berries” (blue and white) by Magnolia. Swarovski crystals, Snowflake buttons and Decor Art Glamour Dust from Michaels. Viva Decor Pearl Paint (white) and Transparent Glitter applied with Pebbles Chalk and Stormy Sky Distress ink around image.

         So, you can sing the “blues’ or play some “blues” music, but remember to COLOR your creation with some BLUES to join this challenge.  Take a look at what our DESIGN TEAM created for a little inspiration!
