Christmas 7 Kids Style Blog Hop

Happy Saturday!   I have some exciting news to share and a great blog hop to launch today, but before I share my card, I want to send out a huge “thank you” to the design team at 7 Kids College Fund for inviting me to join them!  Tab’s store was one of the first online stores where I purchased my “goodies” when I began papercrafting years ago.  I continue shop there for so many of my cardmaking and scrapbooking supplies!

The Design Team at 7 Kids College Fund is featuring a Christmas Blog Hop- 7 Kids Style!  In addition to my new dt members, there are some very special guest designers who have joined us for our Christmas Hop (see hop list below).  In addition to seeing some great Magnolia Christmas creations,

ONE RANDOM HOPPER WILL WIN A
$25 GIFT CERTIFICATE TO THE STORE,
AND
THREE GUEST DESIGNERS WILL ALSO BE SELECTED!

Here is how you can win:

1. Make your way through all the blogs on the hop (see list below) and leave a comment on only each DT member’s blog.

2  Return to the store HERE and leave a comment on the store blog telling us how you liked the projects featured.

3. Mark your calendar for Wednesday, November 13th when we will announce the winner on the store blog!

For my card, I chose two images and masked “Tilda Singing Christmas Carols” and “Frosty the Snowman Text”…. they are among my “oldies but goodies” stamps that just never go out of style!

The image is stamped with Memento Tuxedo Black ink and colored with copics. I used Jen Dove’s Copic Color of the Day for “Blood Red” (R14,R46, R59 & RV99) for Tilda’s coat and hat, and “Asparagus” (YG03, G94 & G99) for her tights.  I have all her Color of the Day cards on my Pinterest page HEREWhat a great reference!!  I added Stampendous Frantage in Shabby White around the image, along with Deco Art Glamour Dust and Tim Holtz distress ink in Walnut Stain and Stormy SkyThe “fur” on Tilda’s hat and coat was created with Liquid Applique in White. I coated Tilda’s wings with Judikins Diamond Glaze after coloring them with copics.

The design paper is from an old K& Company Christmas pad called “Vision of Christmas” by Elizabeth Brownd.  I fussy cut a page so the tree was in the area I needed and embellished around it.  I added some roses, lace and a metal corner along with a sentiment from Great Impression stamps.

Thanks so much for stopping by. Follow along the blog hop below to see more fabulous Magnolia Christmas cards- 7 Kids Style! Don’t forget to follow the rules above for a chance to win! Good Luck!

Let’s HOP!!!
