Emmanuelle Coloridge

Happy Sunday!  I have not been blogging much but I have been creating lots of goodies for family- crochet, gift boxes and cards for special occasions. That said, it is nice to be back and post a card I have made!  With classes ending in two weeks, I am hoping to get more cards and mixed media projects posted!

For this card, I am using an image by Emmanuelle Colin from her new coloring book Coloriage Wild.   I purchased my copy through Amazon but you can purchase from ETSY as well.

The coloring book features images on high quality watercolor papers, but I wanted to color with copics, so I scanned the  blank image on my computer, sized it in WORD, printed it on copic paper and colored the image with copics.  I have admired her images for over a year but never colored one because I waited until she released the book and then I had permission to use it and post this way!  The images are just gorgeous!

This card was also inspired by Frouwkje van Keeken who colored this image so beautifully first and when I saw it on her blog, I was thrilled to learn the book was released and then to have it in my hands, and then to color it as beautifully as she did her image!

My image is colored with copic markers.  The design papers are from LemonCraft- “Just Love Me” and Gossamer Blue”.   The flowers and pearl embellishment are from Prima and Wild Orchid Crafts and The Ribbon Girl.  I also used scallop fishtail banner dies and my favorite oval die from Spellbinders on which to mount this beauty!

Have a great day, and as always, thank  you for your kind comments! This card is available in my ETSY store.

I will be entering this card in the following challenges:
