Great News to Share – Leibster Blog Award Recipient!

What a wonderful gift I woke to this morning and I can’t wait to share it with you! But first, let me set the mood… I woke up this morning with a sore back and a bit exhausted from the weekend Easter preparations. While I am so blessed to have spent the weekend with family, as many of you know, the preparations and running around can get the best of us! So with robe on, hair pinned up and a delicious cup of coffee in hand, I sat at my computer to open weekend email and just soak in the stillness of the morning…and then I opened an email message from a blog that I follow- namely,  Tracy Fox from A Crafty Fox.  She  nominated me as a recipient of the Liebster Blog Award!  Speechless – a word never associated with me- is the only one that describes my complete surprise and gratitude!  If you don’t know Tracy, I suggest you take a look at any one of her three blogs. Her photography and papercraft projects are beautiful and inspirational.  Thank you Tracy!

So, what is this award all about?
This is an award that was reputedly started in Germany.  Liebster is German for “dearest”, “beloved” or “favorite.”  This award is given to new bloggers who have just begun blogging and who have less than 200 followers.  You receive this award from a fellow blogger, in my case, Tracy Fox from A Craft Fox, who feel your blog and work are worthy and important to them.  New bloggers are given the opportunity to be recognized for their work while being showcased to other bloggers. The selection of blogs is not limited to papercrafts, the blogs can be about anything!
What I especially love about this award, it the ability for me now to “pay it forward” as the award requires that those who receive it, give it to 5 other bloggers who have less than 200 followers and also deserve recognition.
So with the same excitement and in no particular order, I nominate the following three blogs for recognition.  Please take a minute and visit these blogs. You will find yourself hitting the “follow” button over and over again.
Just gorgeous distress ink coloring of Magnolia stamps & beautiful blog

Beautiful and bright copic coloring/great images and card design

Unique copic colored images and card design

Gorgeous distress ink Magnolias, and beautiful flower embellishments/dies

While Sara has a just a few more than 200 followers, I wanted so to recognize her blog, her website and her art. She is the artist behind all those beautiful stamps I love to color.  This site is such an inspiration to me.  Additionally,  her blog is such a great source of information about color She truly deserves the recognition.

To accept the award, you must:

1) Link back to the person who gave it and thank them for thinking of you.
2) Post the award to your blog.
3) Give the award to 5 bloggers (with less than 200 followers) that you appreciate and value.
4) Leave a comment on the blogs of the five people you have chosen to let them know.
