“He Loves Me, He Loves Me Not” – Anything Goes Challenge at 7 Kids College Fund

Happy Wednesday. If you are like me, you are also drooling over all the new papers, tools and craft goodies being previewed at CHA.  So thankful all those who are there are sending us pictures and youtube videos of all the great products!  Can’t wait to preorder so many of them…
At the 7 Kids College Fund Store, Tab has the new Spellbinder Dies and Tool n One   and at prices you will find hard to beat!  My personal favorite is the new Tool n One. I have linked a youtube clip to show you how cool it is- a must for anyone who uses intricate dies… Check it out!

Today also begins another great challenge at 7 Kids College Fund. As always, the challenge is “Anything Goes”

I thought once Christmas was over, that I would not being seeing “red” anywhere on my cards, but lo and behold, Valentine’s Day is right around the corner and out came those “dreaded red” copics! I say “dreaded” because if you have ever smeared them or tried to get the smudges that fall outside the lines back inside the lines, you know what a pain it can be. In those cases, however, I use a Sharpie Fine Point White water based (not poster paint) marker or a Ranger Opaque Pen and gently cover over those little lines or areas outside the lines.

For my card, I selected an older Saturated Canary rubber stamp that Tab has in stock at the 7 Kids store that is just perfect for Valentine’s Day. It is “Valentine Petals”. It comes with three sentiments too!  I chose the sentiment about being a sucker for all things sentimental because that is so me!

The image is colored with copic markers. These days, I find myself trying to color between puppy naps and potty trips outside (no not me, the puppy-lol), so my coloring seems to be suffering a bit! No worries, I must say I learn something every time I color an image and this was no exception!

The design paper is new from My Minds Eye- “Heirloom Lost and Found”– such a great 6×6 pad for Valentines Day! I used one layer as I did not want to cover up those adorable hearts. I did punch one out and pop dotted it in the upper left corner.  The image is cut using Spellbinder Ovals and Spellbinder Grand Scallop Ovals.  I distressed the edges with Victorian Velvet Distress Inkpad.  Last the heart  pearls and flowers are from WOC and the heart patterned ribbon from my stash.

Why not stop by the 7 Kids Challenge Blog and take a look at what the Design Team created to inspire you!  We would love for you to join us for this challenge.  Remember, you can win a $20 Gift Certificate to 7 Kids College Fund store if you use a stamp that is sold in the store, and since Tab carries all your favorite stamps, that should be easy peasy. We look forward to seeing your creations for our Anything Goes Challenge.  Have a great day!

I will be entering this card in the following challenges:
