Here Comes the Bride – A Creative Romance Challenge

Happy Friday!  Today begins another fabulous challenge at A Creative Romance!
For this challenge, the “Chic Crafters” team chose to use the photo below
as our inspiration. You may use some or all of the colors in this photo as your inspiration!
These colors are so rich and beautiful!
For my card, I selected a beautiful new digital image by Mo Manning available at Mo’s Digital Pencil. She is called “The Other Bride”.
I used design paper that was in my stash. The edges of all papers were distressed with Dusty Concord ink and blending tool also. I love that his cardstock matches the Distress inks so perfectly! I cannot recall where I got those gorgeous vintage rhinestone buttons but the rest of them are on the lace as I used the others that came in the package as a photo prop!  I usually throw out the packaging when I buy items online and I store my embellies in my own containers so sorry I cannot place these!

The pearl lace trim and 3″ lace is from Live and Love Crafts. Mulberry Paper roses are from Wild Ochid Crafts. The ribbon was layered to make three loops and stapled with Tim Holtz stapler. I made two sections and used the button on top where the two ribbon pieces met.

She is colored with copic markers and a few Polychromos pencils (cheeks and some skin shadows), then I added lots of glamour dust on her dress, veil and bouquet. (Of course, I am having fun with my camera again providing those great “bursts” on anything that glimmers or shines, and there is lot of bling on this bride.) The sentiment, “Dreams do come true” is a digital sentiment from Create with TLC Artfire. I merged it with the digi stamp.

and a close up..

Why not hop over and see how the Chic Crafters were inspired by this photo. We hope you will join us at A Creative Romance with your creation. Have a great day.  This card is available in my ETSY store (see link on sidebar) and can be reacreating and customized to match any color of the bridal party.

I will be entering this card in the following challenges:

Fab n Funky- Anything with Ribbon
Clear it Out- Weddings/Rings or Circles
Crafting from the Heart- Anything Goes
 Marker Pop Challenge- Anything Goes
