Spring has sprung here and the crocuses have begun to bloom so it was great time to create a card the features flowers!
Today I created a vintage card using Craft O’Clock’s Plum and Chocolate design paper to celebrate a special birthday! These papers are gorgeous and have a vintage feel with beautiful browns and aubergine colors. I covered the front with lace and matching mulberry flowers and added a resin frame around one of the cut-aparts featured in the collection.
What makes this a special card is that inside, I created a pocket and a small matching gift card envelope using the Plum in Chocolate Journal Pack; however, I tucked inside the card beautiful Seed Paper Butterfly by FLOWERSEEDPAPER.
Each butterfly features seeds embedded in the paper that will sprout wild flowers when planted. The papers are encased in a glassline envelope with a tag of directions for planting. This little gift says, “If friends were flowers, I’d pick you!”
This card is encased in a gift box suitable for gift giving or sending through the mail. It is available in my ETSY SHOP here. (Update: sold)
Thanks for stopping by and leaving a kind comment. Have a great day!
