Leilani – Child of Heaven

Leilani – Child of Heaven

Happy Sunday! Finally a day where the humidity took a break and it was actually cool enough to open windows!  I am here today to share a card I created using the Connie Fong digi image, “Leilani”.  Her Hawaiian name means “child from heaven.”

“Leilani” is colored with both copic markers and Shin Han alcohol makers (the blue dress and bow BG7, BG9, BG5).  I do not own many Shin Han markers but I added a few to my copic collection that were of colors that seems to be different from the copic blues.  Here is another view.

I mounted the image on a Spellbinder scallop oval die and propped her up with double sided mounting tape. The gorgeous papers are the 6×6 (four matching papers) from PION.  I was able to use two of them on the card front and other inside the card to which a sentiment can be added and personalized.  Matching cardstock from Tim Holtz collection. Here is a close up.

Additional details include lace, pearls and satin ribbon from my stash, beautiful blue/gray pearl button from Etsy (New York Button Sister) and flowers from Wild Orchid Crafts.
Thanks so much for stopping by. Thanks also for your kind comments.
