Oops, I forgot to publish this post this week so here I am! Several patrons of my Etsy shop have requested this mermaid card, and I love to recreate it each time, but this time I thought why not play with a different color scheme and papers. Plus I got to pull out those gorgeous mulberry roses from my stash.
For this image, I played with the YG copics to create a different look on her tail! I enhanced those colors with Prismacolor pencils on top. I used a few Spellbinder dies to cut the oval and the “Renaissance Jubilee” Dies. One of the nice things about renovating my craft room is that I was able to reorganize so many items that were stashed away and now out and organized, I am using them! The die cuts were distressed with TH Rusty Hinge and Crushed Olive inkpads. I also used Marianne Creatables “Decorative Elegance” die cuts.
Last, I added beautiful roses from Wild Orchid Crafts and pearls around the image. Last, the sentiment is a digital sentiment from Create with TLC, “Serenity of the Sea” collection. This card is available in my ETSY shop.
As always, thank you for stopping by and for your kind comments.
