Good Morning…a rainy one here but I am nice and cozy at home today. Today, my project features Saturated Canary image, “Genie”.
I am new to making altered projects but I decided to have a go at the LaLa Land Shadow Boxes. They assemble easily and you can then color, paint or embellish them any way you choose. I painted the box with both Krylon 18K Gold spraypaint and then on the sides of the box, used the new Tim Holtz metallic gold dabber.. great product. I also adhered design paper, my image and embellies and then assembled.
While I think this might be a too “blingy” I did “frantage” the heck out of this image and frame with the White Frantage embossing enamel and the Lilac Encrusted jewels (HERE IS A youtube video on these 5 jar kits) . I added the flowers, and to really bling it up and make it “genie-looking”, I used ribbon trimmed with pink crysals inside the frame to dangle down…Last, my Wild Orchid crafts flowers and gold corners (comes with the shadowbox) finish off this project.
“Genie” is colored with copic markers and a little glamour dust is sprinkled here and there. Thanks so much for stopping by. Have a great day and thank you for your kind comments.
