Good Morning! For my project today, I chose to color up one of the new rubber stamps from Krista Smith’s Saturated Canary line called “Cherry on Top”. It’s somewhat “CAS” for me, but that image has to take center stage! How cool, too, that the sentiment comes with this rubber stamp! I stamped it just as it was situated on the rubber, but you could trim it apart to be able to place the sentiment anywhere you want or use separately!
Of course, she is colored with copic markers, and her dress and gloves got a nice dose of Glamour Dust and Diamond Stickles. The design paper is “My Mind’s Eye Blush Lost and Found Two”. I love that it had both red and pink to match the colors in my image and a vintage look. I added some Snow Tex to the “frosting” on her cupcake, too!
The dp is distresed with both Brushed Courduroy and Tattered Rose distress inks with the distress tool. I love to add Brushed Courduroy over my color inks to tweak the colors. I shaded around the image with Pebbles Iridescent chalks and included some pinks in the “blue sky” around her. Rolled Roses, white metal corner and ribbon from LLC. The little cupcake is a button from Michaels (with the shank removed) and the pearls are from my stash. Oval Dies are from Spellbinders. Here is another look at this sweetie…
