The Paper Shelter- Love Beats All Challenge

It’s time again for another great challenge at The Paper Shelter. This weeks challenge theme is “Love Beats All”... you can interpret the theme any way you want!  You will have until Tuesday, October 16th to enter this challenge and post your project to our Inlinkz– don’t forget to post a direct link to The Paper Shelter on your blog!

The Paper Shelter offers such awesome prizes to challenge winners – this week Veronica and Pedro are offering you a prize of $30 Gift Certificate to spend on their website, as long as you have used one of  The Paper Shelter images on your project, but even if you use another image, you can win 3 digi images of your choice!
For my card, I selected a new Christmas image called “Christmas Carols.” Once again, this image comes with extra images such as an inked stamp, a colored stamp and background papers.  For my card, I colored the digi image with copic markers (see list below).

Now, I must tell you that I was so excited to get to color up this new image, that I totally forgot that the theme was “Love Beats All” until after I finished the card.  I was looking through my sentiment stamps and I thought to myself to double check the challenge and lo and behold, it was “love”!  No problem… I found a sentiment stamp (Just Rite) that fit the theme and judging by the way she is looking at him in this image, I don’t think it is his voice that has her smiling and looking lovingly at him!
The design paper is from an old 12×12 paper pad I had from My Minds Eye called “Winter Wishes”.   The cardstock is from Bazzill.  The burgundy silk ribbon is from May Arts and the trinket on top of it is from Bo Bunny’s Blitzen Christmas Trinkets– love them!  The metal corner embellishment is from Michaels and the sentiment is from Just Rite stamps.  I added some Liquid Applique (white)to the fur on her coat and some Deco Art Glamour Dust/MS Snow Glitter to parts of the image. Last, I dusted some dark blue Pebbles Iridescent chalk around the image.  Viva Decor Pearl Paint created the “snowflakes” around the image.

I hope you will hop over to The Paper Shelter Challenge Blog to see what the DESIGN TEAM has created to inspire you.  We hope to see your project there this week. Have a great day, and thank you for your kind comments!
