Use those Scraps- A Creative Romance Challenge

Good Morning!  Seems like forever since I posted my dt card for A Creative Romance. Life pulls you in different directions at times and there is only so much of me that can go around, so thankfully I am back!

For our challenge, the Chic Crafters chose “Use those Scraps” as its theme. For the next two weeks, you can enter your creations interpreting the theme any way you choose.  Scraps can come in the form of scrap paper, embellies or whatever material you have “a little bit left” of and want to incorporate in your project.  You will have from now until May 8th to enter for a chance to win a voucher from Live and Love Crafts or be selected as one of our Top 3!

For my  project, I am posting the companion to the earlier Easter shadow box that I was commissioned to make. This time, the colors I chose are yellow and turquoise- a great Easter or Springtime combination. I had one leftover piece of Pion paper, scraps of cardstock, one piece of yellow mottled design paper from an old 12×12  paper pad, and a small piece of gorgeous Live and Love lace to use on my project.  I also used up some square doilies that I had left over from other projects- love these doilies.

The image is from Crafts and Me, called “Dusk” by Sara Burrier.  She is colored with copic markers and embellished with Frantage and glitter.

The flowers are all from Wild Orchid Crafts, and the sentiment is from Create with TLC.  Thanks so much for stopping by.  Why not hop over to A Creative Romance blog and take a look at the inspirational projects created by the Chic Crafters. We hope to see your entry over the next two weeks!  Have a great day!
