Happy Monday. Just stopping by to share my latest card- a vintage Christmas card- with you. As I just reorganized my craft supplies, I found “stamping linen” that I don’t think is a available anymore and I thought, why not use it? It is “printer friendly” as it is backed with paper and so I ran it through my printer and printed a gorgeous vintage winter girl image on it.
I also struggled with a die cut to showcase her and then I remembered that beautiful Prima frame I was “saving” and it worked beautifully. I embellished the frame with Finnabair waxes in Indian Pink, White Gold and Bronze Age. The design papers are from Studio Light “Winter Trails” 6×6 paper pad. I love the blues, earth tones and ivory colors of this paper pad. I also cut wide lace in half lengthwise to tuck underneath one of the paper layers. Finally, I added pearls, hand dyed seam binding and lots of mulberry paper roses in deep burgundy and dusty rose along with a little pocketwatch charm.
Thank you for stopping by and for you kind comments, This card is available for purchase in my ETSY shop. Have a great day!
