Wish Big

Happy Sunday!  I hope you are having a relaxing weekend. The weather has been beautiful and it is such a nice time of year.  Flowers are blooming and my vegetable garden is also looking good!

I am stopping by to share my latest card.  A couple of weeks ago, I created a card using a beautiful image from Mo Manning called “Laura”. You can see that card below.  A few days later, Mo released this adorable image and I could not wait to color her up. She is called “Kate” and I just fell in love with her at first sight. Who could resist coloring that beautiful bonnet?

I recently reorganized my paper stash and discovered a large quantitiy of specialty design paper I ordered some time ago. Once I saw this paper, I knew I would be coloring “Kate” in vintage greens.  The design paper is Inkido “Spring Time” 6×6 papers. There are four 6×6 designs on one 12 inch page- all coordinated for you and so beautiful

Kate is colored with copic markers. I usually work like a mad woman and hardly keep track of my colors but I kept track of the greens for her dress which were BG99 (darkest shading),G99,94, 84 and 40.  I added YG 21 over the G40 to give a yellow tint to the lightest color. Her apron and bonnet ribbons were colored with E81, 84 and 87. I also added E41 and colorless blender to blend the folds.  Last I added some glitter dust on her ribbons and tulip!

The flowers are from Wild Orchid Crafts and Recollections.  The leaf die is called “Botanical Stem” from Memory Box. The die cut chipboard frame is from Scrapieniec available in the USA at WHS Marketplace HERE.

Last, the pretty hand dyed shabby seam binding is from Live and Love Crafts.. so many delicious colors- and the sentiment is from a Stampin Up set I have had forever. Thanks so much for visiting my blog and as always, for your kind comments. Have a great day!   I will be entering this card in the following challenges:
 Allsorts- Fancy bows and ribbons
