Happy Thursday! Just stopping by to share my inspiration card for today’s Crafts and Me blog. As you know, we host challenges every week; digi challenges one week and rubber challenges the next. In addition to the challenges, we also post the newest images on our “inspiration” blog. Today, it is my pleasure to share a new Hannah Lynn rubber stamp image, “Glacier Lily Fairy.” I just love Hannah’s images… so much fun to color!
This image is colored with copic markers and a bit of colored pencil in her hair. I apologize for the poor lighting as it was evening when I took the pics and one of my photo lamps broke- yikes! I am just beginning play with “coloring in noses” on images that don’t have a defined nose and this is a gentle attempt- thank you to Alyce (Kit and Clowder) for helping me with that! Brave eagle I am! 🙂
The design paper was a “gift” that came with one of my favorite magazines, “Cardmaking and Papercraft”. The subscription is a bit expensive and it originates from the UK, but it is by far one of the best mags I own. Every issue comes with a gift of either a paper pad, stamps (or both), chipboard, glitter…you name it! (I am not getting a commission for plugging this mag- it is just that I have subscribed to tons of these mags and have ended all my subscriptions except this one as it never disappoints from cover to cover!) This issue featured a free 6″ paper pad by Teresa Collins and it worked for my image! The vintage blue/greens and pale peach colors called my name for this card. Here is a close up:
The white Frantage, lace, pearl crochet trim, pearl on a string and bronze metal corner all come from Live and Love Crafts I don’t know where I got the square doilies from as I took them out of the package and stored them without label! The flowers are from Recollections and Wild Orchid Crafts.
Thanks so much for stopping by. Why not stop over to the Inspiration blog and then to the Challenge blog where the digi team is hosting this week’s challenge… “use a digi”– it doesn’t get easier than that. Have a great day!
